Hi there, buddies! I’m so excited to be in my last few days of undergrad, so I decided to call up my dear friend, Logan Simmons, for a senior photo shoot!
Logan is a super talented photographer who takes pictures for all occasions (senior pictures, weddings, birthday parties, new born photos, maternity photos, engagements… everything!) She is so good at what she does, and these pictures that she took for me were as close to perfect as we could get.
And, I had such a fun time getting to do some styling out in this field that is close to where each of us live.
I love old books, and I’ve been collecting old/vintage textbooks for a few years. I was so excited to take them off the shelf and get to use them in this shoot!
I came across this chair at the perfect time! I got it at an auction in Jefferson that my mother, grandmother and I go to every once in a while. A lot of times they just sell junk, but this beauty popped up while we were there, and I brought it home for just $3.00! #HollaForADolla 😀
I’m not trying to be conceded with all of these… I just wanted to show off my friend’s talent! It’s rare that I like pictures of me, but she made me look good in all of these (if I do say so myself 🙂 )
I’m so excited to be entering this next part of life, and a little anxious too, if I’m being perfectly honest. But I know God’s in control, and He’s already got everything worked out for me.
Job searching for post-graduation has been a bit stressful for me so far, but I’ve found a few positions that have me excited… so, I’m praying that wherever I’m meant to be is where I end up and that I can have peace and patience during this process.
There’s less than 18 days until graduation, and while this isn’t the end of education for me, I’m excited for this chapter to close (both literally and figuratively 😀 ) and for a new one to begin…
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog, and thanks for being a part of my journey!
