Hi there, friends! Just thought I’d do a super quick post about how I decorated the space above my headboard this Christmas with these simple white stockings from Walmart.
I had the idea of this at the beginning of the month, and it’s taken me this long to get it together… but that’s life, I guess. #TeamProcrastination ๐ This was simple to do, and I think it turned out pretty well.
I used push pins to hang each stocking, and then added some book pages that I rolled up and tied with baker’s twine. Then, I added in some pieces of flocked/frosted greenery to give it a little more texture and dimension.
But, y’all, it is hard to find solid white or off-white stockings. I had one of the larger ones and both of the smaller ones already. (I got them on clearance after Christmas last year.) I was struggling to find any others. I looked at Target, Dollar Tree, Dollar General… I finally found some that I liked on Amazon that weren’t too expensive, but they didn’t have 2-Day shipping, and they would have gotten here 2 daysย after Christmas…. So, I checked in Walmart and just happened to find two more stuffed in the back of the stocking aisle.
So, if your looking for some at the last minute… Walmart is where it’s at!
Quick, simple and stylish… Hope this gives a little inspiration for those of you who, like me, wait til the last minute to pull it together! (I just like to think I work better under pressure ๐ )
Merry Christmas, Friends!!!
