Hi Friends! Thanks for checking out the blog today. For Mother’s Day this year, I decided to go with a “Lemon” theme after deciding to make a Lemon Bundt Cake from Joanna Gaines’ new cookbook “Magnolia Table.” (You can read more about that HERE.) I remembered seeing a really pretty lemon-printed table cloth in Homegoods a few weeks ago, and once I decided to go this route, I was wishing I had picked it up. I decided to go...
Have you picked up your copy of Joanna Gaines’ new cookbook? If you haven’t, you really should! It has lots of great recipes, like this Lemon Bundt Cake. I decided to make this for Mother’s Day this year, and it was my first time baking a cake from scratch. I was nervous I was going to mess it up, but it turned out pretty great! The instructions were very clear, and you only need a few ingredients including: 3...
Hi there, buddies! Iโm so excited to be in my last few days of undergrad, so I decided to call up my dear friend, Logan Simmons, for a senior photo shoot! Logan is a super talented photographer who takes pictures for all occasions (senior pictures, weddings, birthday parties, new born photos, maternity photos, engagements… everything!) She is so good at what she does, and these pictures that she took for me were as close to perfect as we could...
Hi Guys! I wanted to share a few of my current favorite things with you today! I think you’re gonna like them… 1. Johnnyswim This is my new favorite music! If you’re a true “Fixer Upper” fan, you’ll recognize this duo. (They sing the theme song for Chip and Jo’s show.) I started listening to them on Spotify and they’re my new favorite music. The internet defines their music as being in the “American folk, soul, blues, pop” genre,...
Hi friends! So, this is a little late, but too cute not to post. For Easter this year, I semi-fixed this cake for our family lunch, and it turned out so cute! I ordered this cake from Publix, so they took care of the baking and icing… but I wanted to springify it! (That’s a word, right?) I used candy Easter eggs and sprinkles to create a border on top. I cut white chocolate Reese’s Cups in half to...
Hi Buddies!!! First off, this wisdom tooth mess is no joke, but thankfully itโs giving me a little time to chill out and relax. I felt better today, so I decided to work on a set of mahogany corbels I picked up from Bargain Hunt a couple of weeks ago. I picked up two of these for $3/each with the intention of using them for a shelf above my headboard in my bedroom. However, I didnโt want to keep...
Hi, Friends! So, if you havenโt noticed yet, I love me some Chip & Jo, which means I also love me some Hearth & Hand. Today, Iโm sharing some of my favorite items in their current line of dishes. I’ve pulled the product images from and linked each picture to the product listing on Target’s website, so, if you see something you like, you can go directly to it! 1. Decorative Wire Basket So… this basket may not exactly...
Hi Friends! Thanks for checking out the blog today! Iโve pulled together a few of my favorite items this month to share with you. Let me know what you think about them! 1. Peony Picks from Michael’s I love the color of these faux floral picks from Michaelโs (and peonies are one of my favorite flowers ๐ ) They were only a couple of bucks at the store, and Iโm pretty sure I got them when they were 40%...
