Tiny, Humbled, Inspired & Salty

Happy Monday peeps! We’re back from vacation, and it’s back to reality… We always enjoy our time at the beach, and this year was no exception.
“Tiny, humbled, inspired and salty…” That pretty much sums up a visit to the ocean. Seeing the natural beauty of the waves or the seashells found in the sand can’t help but leave you with some inspiration.
One of my favorite things is simply sitting in the sand by the ocean. There’s just something calming about it. Maybe it’s the sound of the waves or the feeling of the sand under your feet… or maybe it’s the fact the ocean can make you feel small and brings to the forefront the idea that any problems that you may face are never really that big. Sometimes it’s good to feel tiny.
And it also reminds you of just how BIG God is. The beauty in the sunsets, the power of the waves, the glow of the sun… it’s all a part of His creation, and you know what’s even crazier, he considers us to be the most important thing on Earth, and He will never leave us.
1 But now, this is what the Lord says — he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. 3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…
– Isaiah 43:1-3
So, thank you to the ocean for the feelings it stirs and the reminders it gives, and thank you to God for the ocean and for always being there for us no matter how badly we mess up.
Have a wonderful week friends!
