Peeps, it’s time for some liking… and I’m not talking about this post (though that’s always appreciated 😉).

Too often we talk about success as reaching a milestone that other people congratulate us on, when I think we should start looking at success as reaching a milestone that makes our own self proud. There are challenges we overcome and goals we reach all the time however small they are, but we hesitate to share them or to celebrate them because they’re not “big enough” or we think other people will think it’s dumb that we’re excited about it…

Well, forget that! If you walk some extra steps today, that’s awesome! Celebrate it! If you get one step closer to paying off debt, that’s awesome!! Celebrate it!! If you didn’t completely loose it when something went wrong, that’s awesome!!! Celebrate it!!! If you found a great deal on something you’ve been looking for, that’s awesome!!!! Celebrate it!!!! CELEBRATE the little moments, and don’t worry about their significance to other people because they’re important to you!

And let that be your definition of success… liking yourself, liking what you do and liking how you do it!

Today’s society is a constant comparison… look what he did, why aren’t you doing it? Look what she accomplished, why haven’t you done that? Look at how they’re doing that, why can’t we do it like that?

But guess what? YOU are NOT him/her/them… You are YOU and that YOU is who God decided the world needed. I’m always saying “You do you…” but seriously, do YOU! If you like a “different” style, do it! If you want to try approaching something a “different” way, try it! The world would be the dullest thing in the universe if we all did everything the same way.

Be BOLD.

Be DARING.

Be UNIQUE.

But most of all…

BE YOU!!!!
