No Spring Skips Its Turn

Happy Monday peeps! Spring is in the air… the flowers, the warmer weather, the sunshine… (the pollen). We’re into a new season, but this year is definitely a little different.
We may be spending a lot more time at home right now, but maybe that’s not a bad thing. We’re figuring out how to do things from home that we’ve never had to do. We’re spending more time with our family. We’re growing more thankful for things that we’ve been taking for granted. And, we’re still trying not to go completely crazy!
But just remember, this won’t last forever. “No spring skips it turn.” And think about how different things might be afterwards. We’ll be more resourceful, more confident in our abilities to overcome and more thankful for the small things (like a trip to Homegoods… which I would LOVE to take right about now.) Better days are coming, friends!
11 See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. 12 Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. 13 The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.
– Song of Songs 2:11-13
Keep on keeping on, peeps! Take time to enjoy the spring and the stillness, and hang on for those more “normal” days. (They’ll be here before we know it!)
Have a great week!
