Happy Monday peeps! Another week of quarantine is here, and I felt like this quote was so very fitting.
These are tough times. We can’t see our friends, we can’t work like we normally we do… we can’t go to Goodwill. 😉 But these times will pass, and us tough people will still be standing.
I read a post on LinkedIn this past week that someone had written that was all about saying “I do hard things.” She said that when her kids were little and in swimming lessons, their instructor used to ask them to say that when ever they got scared or nervous about jumping in or swimming without a float. And right now… it kind of feels like we’re all swimming without a float, just kicking and paddling the best we can to stay above water. So, she suggested that we all adopt that same saying, “I do hard things.”
I’ve written this out and stuck it on my bulletin board (right next to my other “motivational” note, which says “I do NOT look good in orange…” I’ll let you interpret that one 😀 )
Lastly, I’d like to share a verse with you…
