It’s the first Monday of 2020, friends! Can you believe it?
One of my resolutions for the new year is to get back to blogging regularly, which includes starting back up with my weekly Monday Motivation posts. So, today I’m kicking it off with the motivational thought “You are never alone…” which I got from the Longstreet Cafe sign in Gainesville of all places.
In a world that is so connected (thanks to the internet/social media), it’s crazy how easy it is to start feeling alone or singled out, but you know what? You’re not alone. No matter where you are or what you’re going through, you have people that love and support you, and I gaurantee you that there is someone out there who is feeling the same way or going through something similar to what you’re going through.
And if you don’t want to believe that there is a person who’s there for you, know that there is a God who is there for you.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will hold you up with my righteous hand.
– Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)
Fear can creep up on us. Anxiety can plague us. But, I’m deciding that this will be the year that I cling tighter to God’s promises and know that “when the dog bites or when the bee stings or when I’m feeling said, I can simply remember…” (☺️) that God is right there with me to help me through it… and I hope you add that to your resolution list too because He’s there for you.
So, like the Longstreet Cafe sign says, you’re never alone.
