Happy Monday, friends! Sharing another motivational post today featuring the quote above.
In today’s world, it’s so hard to find a work-life balance, but this quote really hit home with me. We’re always saying we wish we could cut the stress out of our life, but how can we accomplish that?
I believe we have to first distinguish our priorities and figure out what we truly want and care about in life. Then, we should focus our energy towards whatever answers we come up with. Anything else (anything we don’t actually care about) needs to be put on the back-burner in attempts to alleviate stress.
Now, that sounds a lot easier than what it actually is; however, I believe that if you feel like you are called to do something and it’s all you can think about, then that’s what you’re meant to do. Maybe it’s singing, maybe it’s decorating, maybe it’s blogging, maybe it’s underwater-basket-weaving π… there’s a reason you have that passion, and often times it’s a “God-thing”. Like Chip says in Capital Gaines,
“Perhaps you can’t quit your day job… but never, ever quit your day dream.”
Let’s make it our goal this week to take the first steps towards finding our passion, whether it’s our work, our home, our family, or our hobby, and let’s think of ways we can pursue that!
We can do this! Have a great week, friends!
