Hi friends! Taking this Saturday to share my latest changes in the bedroom! Coming out of Christmas/Winter, it’s sometimes challenging to figure out what to use in the home until it’s actually spring time…

I picked up this botanical magnolia print at At Home last weekend and used it as my inspiration for my bedroom this month.

I love botanical prints for anytime of year, and I felt that this one was perfect for transitioning from winter to spring because of it’s neutral colors and simplicity. (And the price was not bad either! I think it was only 10 or 12 bucks! #HollaForADolla 🙂 )

I used black and white accents with a bit of greenery to tie it all together, like this black metal canister, the black framed mirror, and the black frame of the vase on the other end of the shelf.

I also used some single white tapered candles and a couple of short pillar candles to fill in some more of the space without taking away from the print and mirror.
I chose to set these on the shelf without holders (and so far they haven’t fallen… knock on wood)

(Please excuse the lighting in this last picture. It’s hard to get good lighting in this space.) I also had a magnolia pillow case that I picked up about a month go that is a perfect match for the bed!
I think I’ll get a few faux magnolia flowers to add here and there once we get into some warmer weather, but I have to say, I love how this has come together.
What kind of changes have you made to your decor for this time of year? Tell me about them in the comments below!
Have a great day, friends!
