Hi Friends! And Happy (almost) 4th of July!
I did this fun little set up to get some good pictures for my Monday Motivation post yesterday, and wanted to share it!
Y’all know I don’t use much color, but Independence is the time to break out the red, white and blue!
This print of the U. S. Constitution and the quill on top is actually from one of my high school band trips when we went to Washington D. C.
If you saw yesterday’s post, you know I broke out my letter board from the Blue Hydrangea as well. (You can go to “The Blue Hydrangea” tab at the top of this page to get more information!)
Our hydrangea blooms are slowly fading away, but I grabbed one to put in this little jar I got at a local thrift store!
And, of course, I had to add a glass of sweet tea. (Those ice cubes lasted about 10 minutes, if that. It was H-O-T!)
I tried to find the listings for some of these items, but the only one I could find was for the chair. So, here’s a list of all the item sources:
- Letterboard: The Blue Hydrangea
- Sweet Tea Glass: Michael’s
- Jar: The Thrift Store (Gainesville, GA)
- Chair: Walmart
- Pillow: Ross
- Blanket: Bargain Hunt
- Star: Ross (P. S. It’s tin and used to be red and I used light grey chalk paint to change the look.)
- Jute Rug: Target
- Banner: Target (Last year’s dollar spot)
- Table: IDK… my mom’s had it for years. π
So, that was my quick styling project yesterday. It’s always fun to change things up!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today, and have a happy 4th! π
I dugg some of you post as I cogitated they were very helpful very useful.
That is a good tip particularly to those fresh to the blogosphere.
