Still kinda in shock that ya boy got named ✨REALTOR OF THE YEAR✨ for the Hall County Board of REALTORS 🏆

Between contracts, teaching, and pulling this banquet together, I swear I lived like 5 years in 5 days… but man, it was worth it 🙌

Last night was unreal.

Shoutout to the squad who helped make it all happen (thanks for putting up with me 🤪😂), and to everyone who showed up and showed OUT—we raised almost 💰$10K for RPAC in like 2 hours… insanity 🔥

So proud of all the award winners and the people in this community who are out here doing big things every day 💙

And to the ones who carried me through the chaos this past year… seriously, thank you. You know who you are.🫶🫶🫶

Still doesn’t feel real that I get to carry this title 🥹

Yes, this is a lonnnngggg reel - but we’ve been on a long journey to get here, and there’s too much to include, so grab ya popcorn and buckle up 🍿

We said we were doing this… In Sept of 2024, we said we were doing this. But we didn’t know it’d be on this level. Y’all, this man and I have stuck together through it all. When he was working full time at the hospital, he’d come in after hours at the office and we’d make it happen. We’d get on the phone or on zoom at 10pm, 11pm, midnight after he got off, got the fam fed and got everyone to bed. We’ve handle every contractual issue in gods creation because J has a talent for finding crazy deals. We’ve done open houses, we’ve gone to events, we’ve comped all kinds of properties (even tho he doesn’t always listen to me when I tell him what they’ll sell for 😜) Because, yes, I was his coach for the first 20-ish deals, but y’all my peeps are not just business to me. Yes, it’s my job to get them through the transactions, but it’s my privilege and honor to walk beside them while they launch a business. To me, their win are my wins. And this was a HUGE win for #CortesAndDuke today 💿

I’ve never seen someone make things happen the way he makes things happen. And yet today I sat next to the KWLP Rookie of the Year, a top 20 agent for our office, THE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR FOR THE FREAKIN’ SOUTHEAST REGION OUT OF 13,000 PEOPLE, and most importantly… my brother.

J, there’s nothing you can’t do, and this just further proves it. There’s so much that’s went down behind the scenes that honestly should have taken you out a few different times - should have taken us both out 🤪 but it didn’t. And honestly, it’s a God thing, because I pray for my family every day, which includes him, and I know he does the same for me. And Jesus is the only reason that we’ve made it here. 🙏

I’m just so proud… this is a poor little attempt to put it in words, but I’m proud. I guess this is the same pride that parents feel when their kids win championship games 🤪 Papa Duke is just beaming with pride 💙
