Have you ever thought about that? You’re still here… after the bad days, the rough times, the craziness of life… you’ve survived 100% of it.
I think sometimes we just need to hear that. I know I do because not all days are great, not all weeks are great, not all months or even years are great. You have those times where… I don’t know, you lose your wallet. (Happened last week) Or you get into an argument with someone you love or your car has a problem or you catch that cold you’ve been trying to avoid, and for a while life’s just sucky.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE in feeling that way! It happens to all of us. And what do we do? We survive it. We find our footing again, and many times it’s just a little bit stronger than before because of our perseverance. Things can be replaced. Relationships can be mended. Wounds can heal. And we must never forget that. That’s where hope comes in.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit…”
– Romans 15:13
“The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love…”
– Psalm 147:11
So, don’t let the little things get you down so quickly! Because there is always hope, and we need to help people see that. After all, hope is the greatest of the gifts we can ever receive.
I “hope” you not only survive, but thrive in the days ahead. Have a great week, my friend!
