DIY Fall Frames

Fall is here, and it’s time to break out the decorations. If you’re looking for something new to add an autumn touch, these frames are super easy (and really pretty!)

I found these frames at our local Bargain Hunt for just $2, and while they looked nice in their original gold color, white is more my style. So, chalk paint Provided a quick fix. All you’ll need for this is…

  • Picture Frames
  • Chalk Paint (if you’re changing the frame color)
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Leaves (got mine out of the yard!)
  • Scrapbook/craft paper
  • Picture mat (if your frame doesn’t come with one)

After painting the frames, I cut some craft paper to fit for a background. I centered a leaf that fit then closed up the frame.

Also, I’m a messy painter, so I had to wipe down the glass a few times… but I’m sure some of you are neater.

Check out this quick video to see the process!

I used some paper that was neutral and had a vintage look to match my space, but your could use whatever pattern you’d like!

Happy decorating, and happy fall, y’all! 🍂🍂🍂
